Last updated: January 5, 2026
Surepath Media Group LLC ("Surepath," "we," "us") operates consumer comparison websites in the insurance vertical. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices consumers have.
1. Information we collect
- Information you provide: name, address, phone number, email, date of birth, and details about vehicles, drivers, and current insurance, submitted through our quote-comparison forms.
- Automatically collected data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and interaction timestamps collected via cookies and similar technologies.
- Consent records: the consent language presented, the time it was accepted, and third-party journey witnesses such as Jornaya LeadiD tokens.
2. How we use information
- To match you with insurance carriers, agencies, and related service providers you asked to hear from.
- To operate, secure, and improve our comparison properties.
- To document consent and comply with legal obligations, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
3. How we share information
When you submit a form and affirmatively consent, we share the information you provided with insurance partners so they can contact you by phone, text, or email, including using automated dialing technology, as described in the consent language shown at the point of capture. Consent is not a condition of purchase. We do not sell personal information outside the disclosed marketing purposes.
4. Your choices
- You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing compliance@surepathmediagroup.com.
- You may revoke consent for future contact through the same address; we process revocation within 10 business days.
- California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale/share, and the right to non-discrimination.
5. Data retention
Lead records and associated consent documentation are retained for a minimum of five years to satisfy audit and dispute-resolution requirements, after which they are securely deleted.
6. Security
We encrypt data in transit and at rest, restrict access on a least-privilege basis, and log access to consumer records. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we maintain safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we handle.
